NELL PATEL

BSc (Hons) Ost. Med, ND, DO, PG Animal Osteopathy

Nell is the Principal Osteopath and owner of New Haw Therapy Clinic

 

Nell graduated in 2001 from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine with a BSc (Hons) degree in Osteopathic Medicine and a diploma in Naturopathy.

Nell also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Animal Osteopathy and treats lots of Dogs in her Clinic

 

"I'm a structural and Cranial Osteopath and treat patients of all ages for a variety of health complaints including babies, children, teens, up to the elderly, women during and after pregnancy, sports injuries and much more more. I use traditional osteopathic techniques such as massage and spinal manipulation, complemented by dry needling/medical acupuncture and Cranial Osteopathy which I have taken further training in"

Nell's background is in sports science and she has a great insight into the movement and function of the human body. 

"I intimately understand the mechanics of the human body and this is a skill I have developed and refined for over 20 years of helping my patients back to better health"

CLAIRE FARAGHER

M. Ost.  PGC Animal Osteopathy ITEC level 3 Sports Massage

Claire graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (formally Bristish School of Osteopathy) with a Masters in osteopathy and a Post Graduate Certificate in Animal Osteopathy. She also has an ITEC Level 3 sport massage qualification. 

 

Claire treats people of all ages and backgrounds using a holistic approach. She is a structural osteopath that utilises functional and visceral techniques to enhance her treatment. Each patient has a unique treatment plan created for them with rehabilitation advice and exercises given when appropriate.  

 

With her background in the equine industry and further studies in animal osteopathy she has a unique insight into the treatment of horse riders. In addition to this Claire has special interests in treating patients with hypermobility, headaches and chronic pain. 

Milly Howlett

M.Ost. PGC Animal Osteopathy

 

Milly was always been an advocate of Osteopathy from a young age. As a keen horse rider, she competed in show-jumping at a national level, and this inevitably caused some sports related injuries. She found that Osteopathy helped her in her recovery and also to regain strength and improve her posture in order to continue competing.

 

She uses a wide range of treatments such as joint manipulation, soft tissue massage, kineseo-taping and exercise prescription. She will tailor her treatment to suit each individual patient.  

Dorothy Szamrowicz

Dorothy's professional journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment to the field of healthcare, with a unique blend of qualifications that set her apart.

Her academic accomplishments began in 2008 when she graduated as a physiotherapist in Poland. This marked the initial step in her healthcare career, where she dedicated herself to helping individuals recover from physical ailments. Working in physiotherapy centre provided her with a solid foundation, and as a self-employed physiotherapist and manual therapist, she continued developing personalised approach to patient care.

In 2013, Dorothy's dedication to the healthcare field expanded further when she graduated as a paramedic in Poland. Her knowledge and skills in emergency medical care added a new dimension to her abilities, showcasing her readiness to assist in critical situations.

In 2023, Dorothy achieved another significant milestone by graduating from the University College of Osteopathy, formerly known as the British School of Osteopathy, with MSc in Osteopathy. This advanced degree solidified her expertise in osteopathic care, enriching her toolkit for patient treatment.

What distinguishes Dorothy as a healthcare professional is her unparalleled ability to adjust her treatment techniques to meet the unique needs of each patient. Her extensive experience has exposed her to a diverse range of medical conditions and ailments, enabling her to approach each case with precision and sensitivity.

Dorothy's professional reputation is built on being not only highly skilled but also profoundly likable and responsible. Patients consistently appreciate her professional demeanor, approachability, and her commitment to their well-being.

Beyond her professional life, Dorothy possesses a passion for an active and balanced lifestyle. She finds solace in the great outdoors, indulging in activities like hiking and cycling.
